PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out connection of a power source cable to various electric fusion joints different in shape simply and safely. SOLUTION: A connector 4 in an electrification control apparatus for the electric fusion joint includes two different kinds of electrodes 7 and 8. The electrodes 7 and 8 are symmetrically arranged on both sides interposing a connector body 4a. An electrode guard rod 10 is slidably arranged in female electrodes 7 and 8. When the electrode 7 is inserted into a male electrode part 11 of a terminal 51 of the electric fusion joint 21, the electrode guard rod 10 pushed by the electrode part 11 blocks the inside of the electrode 8 on the opposite side, thereby preventing people or the like from directly touching the electrode 8 to receive an electric shock.
