摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating speed sensing device for an internal combustion engine capable of grasping accurately the crank rotating speed at each cylinder by sensing accurately the twisted amount of a crankshaft while fluctuation due to combustion in different cylinders is excluded. SOLUTION: The rotating speed sensing device of the internal combustion engine is equipped with signal generation means 14, 19, 32 to generate a pulse for each turn in unit angle of the crank angle 11 in accordance with rotation of a timing rotor 14, and a 10°CA time period calculation part 33 to calculate the unit angle rotating time period on the basis of the edge sensing timing of a plurality of pulses emitted before and after in the temporal terms, wherein the arrangement further includes a comparison part 34 to compare a plurality of unit angle rotating time periods calculated while one turn period is taken as interval in the non-injection rotating condition, a comparison result memory part 35 to store the comparison result for each engine speed, and a correcting means 36 to correct the unit angle rotating time period so as to decrease the error time due to twisting of the crankshaft 11 in the non-injection rotating condition on the basis of the edge sensing timing of the plurality of pulses emitted before and after in the temporal terms and the comparison result stored in the comparison result memory part 35.
