<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive lighting device by reducing the cost of a light guide plate. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device includes an LED unit 2, a light guide plate 3 which reflects light emitted from the LED unit 2 and entered from one end face by a reflecting part installed at one side face, and a reflecting sheet which is closely attached to the reflecting part of the light guide plate 3 and further reflects the light reflected by the reflecting part 31 to the other side face opposite to the one side face. The reflecting part 31 is constructed of a groove 31a formed in parallel with the incidence direction of the light incident from the one end face. Since the groove is not necessary to be a mirror face, cost required for the light guide plate can be reduced to provide the inexpensive lighting device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
