PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive resin composition for laser engraving capable of providing a printing original plate that can be photo-cured, engraved with near infrared laser beams and engraved with high definition. SOLUTION: The photosensitive resin composition for laser engraving contains respective components in (a)-(c): (a) a polymeric compound with a number average molecular weight of 1,000-200,000, (b) an organic compound less than 1,000 in molecular weight and having a polymerizable unsaturated group, and (c) carbon black with an average primary particle size of 20-80 nm and a DBP oil absorption of 60-150 mL/100 g.
