Provided is a display device which permits luminances of light sources to be substantially identical by product, i.e., completed product, irrespective of variance of circuit characteristics of light source driving circuits. The display device is provided with a light source (21a) and a liquid crystal display element (21b) for displaying prescribed information by light emitted from the light source (21a). The display device is also provided with a light source driving circuit (43) for driving the light source (21a) at a prescribed driving current value; a control means (41) which stores adjustment data, i.e., information relating to an adjusting voltage value, and outputs the adjustment data as a control signal; and an adjusting voltage outputting means (42) which outputs an adjusting voltage signal based on the adjustment data to the light source driving circuit (43) when the adjustment data, i.e., the control signal, is inputted. The light source driving circuit (43) drives a light source (21a) at a certain driving current value corresponding to the adjusting voltage signal.
