<p>A method of transmitting a measurement report message regarding generation of an event is provided to efficiently control a generation time of a measurement report message, thereby increasing a success rate of handover. A terminal measures measurement information of a serving cell and measurement information of a neighboring cell(S100). The terminal detects a turning event(S110). The terminal determines whether a timer is expired(S120). If the timer is already expired, a measurement report message is transmitted without respect to whether a critical event is detected. If the timer is not expired, a critical event is detected by using measurement information of the serving cell. The measurement report message is transmitted from the terminal.</p> |
