An operator cage for a mobile elevating work platform, the cage 6 comprising a base unit 22 and a fence assembly 25 releasably attached to the base unit, wherein the cage 6 is constructed and arranged to be readily disassembled for convenient transportation. In a preferred embodiment, the base unit and fence assembly are formed of hollow plastics mouldings, and the fence assembly comprises a plurality of posts 26 and at least one rail 28 arranged to receive said posts. In a further invention, said rail comprises a first portion positioned at a first height above the base unit, and a second portion 44 positioned at a second height that is greater than the first height. |
