A processed pigment is provided to improve dispersibility into first particles by suppressing the formation of second aggregate in the fined pigment and to ensure excellent dispersion stability which steadily can maintain the dispersed first particles. A processed pigment is coated with a block copolymer containing pigment-adsorption blocks and non-adsorption blocks. The average molecular weight of the block copolymer is 1,000-100,000. The average first particle diameter of the processing pigment is 5-25 nm. The processing pigment is prepared by adding the block copolymers in a micro-pulverization process. The pigment dispersion composition is obtained by dispersing the processing pigment in organic solvent.
