A welding machine including a rotatable electrode for melt-adhesion prevention is provided to heat or press work pieces uniformly by preventing the foreign material produced the repetitive contact between a first work piece and a welding electrode from sticking to the welding electrode surface. A welding machine(240) comprises a main body(248), a pressing force control unit(249) equipped on the top of the main body, an extension part(246) equipped on the bottom of the main body, a holder(244) equipped on the end of the extension part, and a welding electrode(242) which is equipped to rotate on the holder. The welding electrode ascends while rotating on a first work piece after completion of welding. The rotation angle of the welding electrode is controlled by a separate controller to be large in case that the first work piece has a high hardness and to be small in case that the first work piece has a low hardness.
