<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately detect a position on a display screen which is indicated by an operation device, regardless of the distance between the operation device and a display device, and the rotation angle, with the imaging direction of the operation device as the axis. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of infrared-ray light-emitting points are displayed on the display screen of the liquid crystal display apparatus 10 by a mutually discriminatable method. Then, the operation device 20 captures an image in the direction of the indicated position, thereby calculating the indicated position on the display screen, based on the identification results of the respective infrared-ray light-emitting points included in the captured image and the positions of the respective infrared ray light-emitting points. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
