PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polisher for a packing contact surface of a swivel joint capable of simply and uniformly polishing the packing contact surface located in the inner of a fitting part of a barrel body of the swivel joint. SOLUTION: The polisher for the packing contact surface includes a disk 22 having an outer diameter approximately the same as an inner diameter of the fitting part 4 of the barrel body 2 and capable of coming into contact with the packing contact surface 9 located in the inner portion of the fitting part 4 of the body 2, a handle attachment rod 24 attached to pass through the center of the disk 22 perpendicularly to the disk 22, a handle 34 mounted on the handle attachment rod 24, and a coated abrasive 40 detachably attached to a surface of the disk opposite to a surface where the handle 34 is mounted for polishing the packing contact surface 9.
