PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vehicle surroundings display device which displays information with little sense of incongruity and can surely show an object to be noticed at an early stage. SOLUTION: The vehicle surroundings display device is provided with cameras 2 and 4 mounted on a vehicle 1 to photograph the surroundings of the vehicle 1, and a monitor 6 for displaying images photographed by the cameras 2 and 4. Objects included in the images photographed by the cameras 2 and 4 are detected (S200), and reliability corresponding to the degree of dependence on the detection of the objects are calculated (S500). When displaying the images photographed by the cameras 2 and 4, the objects are highlighted in accordance with the reliability of the objects included in the images (S900). In such a case, when a difference between the images of the objects photographed by the cameras 2 and 4 and a template stored in advance is small, the objects are calculated as a large reliability.
