PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user easily select a facility to drop by. SOLUTION: This navigation system 100 is provided with a storage section 101, a destination setting section 102, a route search section 103, a retrieving section 104, a report control section 105, and a reporting section 106. The storage section 101 stores the history information of a facility which it has reached. A destination is set in the destination setting section 102. The route search section 103 searches for a route to the set destination. The retrieving section 104, based on a predetermined condition, retrieves facilities around the route searched by the route search section 103. The report control section 105 performs control of omitting the facilities stored in the storage section 101, out of the facilities retrieved by the retrieving section 104 and reporting the retrieval result.
