Disclosed is a spherical particle containing a sugar alcohol and a crystalline cellulose and/or a powder cellulose, which is characterized in that the mass ratio between the sugar alcohol and the crystalline cellulose and/or the powder cellulose is from 50:50 to 90:10. This spherical particle is also characterized by having a particle diameter of 75-250 µm, a sphericity of not less than 0.8, and a bulk density of not less than 0.6 g/ml. Also disclosed is a method for producing a spherical particle, which comprises a granulating step wherein a spherical particle is formed by rolling a sugar alcohol having an average particle diameter of not more than 40 µm and a crystalline cellulose and/or powder cellulose having an average particle diameter of not more than 50 µm, while spraying a liquid thereto.
|
