<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport airplane enabling supply of a gaseous fuel in a short time period without the need of using a filling machine, and a method for supplying a gaseous fuel to a transport airplane. <P>SOLUTION: The transport airplane 1 includes a driving part 2 for drive by combustion of a gaseous fuel, and a fuel tank 3 for supplying a gaseous fuel to the driving part 2. The fuel tank 3 is provided to the airplane 1 detachably. The fuel tank 3 is provided to the airplane 1 in plurality so that the plurality of the fuel tanks 3 are provided independently detachably.
