The invention in question relates to novel nanocompound materials which protect against infrared and ultraviolet-visible radiation, and to the method for obtaining said materials which comprises the following steps: reducing the size of the laminar particles by mechanical action, filtration, removal of organic material, removal of crystalline oxides and hard particles not modified, obtaining fine laminar material or laminar structures, pre-treating the laminar structures using precursors, and adding the product of the above steps, either in the liquid state or in the dry state, to a plastic matrix. The invention also relates to the use of said materials in various sectors of industry.
