A versatile camera supporting device which can correspond to the sizes of a camera main body. The camera supporting device (31) comprises a device main body (35) to be mounted to the camera platform (33) of a tripod (32). The device main body (35) is rotatably provided with a leg fixing body (51) which fixes/unfixes the leg (3) of a telephoto lens (4) to/from the device main body (35). The device main body (35) is vertically movably provided with a camera main body supporting body (61) for supporting the camera main body (5).
