There are provided a high power-resistant filter with improved heat dissipation efficiency without changing its capacity, a duplexer using the filter, and a communication apparatus using the duplexer. The elastic wave device includes a piezoelectric substrate (11); resonators (S1, S2, S3, P1, P2, P3) each including a resonant section formed on the piezoelectric substrate (11) and reflectors on both sides of the resonant section on the piezoelectric substrate (11); and bumps (12 to 17) formed on the piezoelectric substrate (11). In the resonators (S1, S2, S3, P1, P2, P3), two or more resonator segments (S11, S12) are connected in parallel.The bump (12) is arranged in an area sandwiched between the reflectors of the resonator segments (S11, S12).
