PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance apparatus capable of performing conveyance by a DC motor by connecting both a pulse motor and the DC motor as a driving source of a conveyance roller, monitoring a conveyance amount, and properly correcting the conveyance amount when the detected conveyance amount deviates from a preset target value, in the conveyance apparatus for conveying documents and recording paper by the same conveyance roller. SOLUTION: Corrective conveyance is performed by a driving force of the pulse motor after conveyance is performed by a driving force of the DC motor while a document is conveyed. While recording paper is conveyed, corrective conveyance is performed by a driving force of the pulse motor after conveyance is performed by the driving force of the DC motor.
