The method involves determining a physiological performance actually produced by training at a training device (TG) in the form of a physiological performance signal (ps). The performance signal is converted into a control signal (ss) by an interface unit (IU). A kinematics or mechanical state variable e.g. time or force, of a computer-aided game or simulation application (SS) is performance-dependently controlled by the control signal. The state variable is adjusted to an individual physiological performance level of the training at the training device.
