PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter which can plant rice seedlings, in such a state that the quantity of the seedlings used for planting the seedlings in a unit area and the number of the seedlings contained in seedlings taken out with a seedling-planting mechanism are uniform. SOLUTION: This rice transplanter includes: driving-changing mechanisms 80 for changing the driving quantities of longitudinal conveyers for longitudinally conveying mat-like seedlings on a seedling tray toward seedling supply ports; seedling slippage-detection means 101 for detecting the longitudinal slippage of the mat-like seeds in a state stopping the longitudinally conveying conveyers; vehicle body state-detecting means 115 for detecting whether the self-propelled vehicle body is in a seedling-planting state or in a seedling-non-planting state; and a control means 95. The control means 95 controls the driving-changing mechanisms 80 to correct a set control target longitudinal conveying quantity of a longitudinal conveyance-setting means 96, on the basis of a detected slippage of the seedling slippage-detection means 101 in a planting state, lower the weight of the detected slippage of the seedling slippage-detection means 101, in a non-planting state for setting a corrected correction control target longitudinal conveying quantity, and longitudinally convey the mat-like seedlings in the set corrected correction control target longitudinal conveying quantity.
