The system (6) has a hydraulic circuit (8) with a pump (24) and a cylinder/piston unit (26). An electric motor (22) is accommodated in motor housing (34), where the motor drives the pump. The pump is reversibly formed, and a working chamber (28) or another working chamber (30) of the cylinder/piston unit acts upon with hydraulic pressure depending on drive direction of the motor. The housing is attached to the hydraulic circuit and is filled with hydraulic fluid used as cooling agent. The fluid passes through the housing during operation of the pump.
