摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method of a minute crack width which measures a crack width of a subpixel size. SOLUTION: Measured average color density data are collated with one-pixel average color density data accumulated in a one-pixel density database, and the most approximate one-pixel average color density data are selected. The color density of a background image in one pixel located at the central position of a demarcated image area is acquired from the data on the color density of the background image peculiar to the selected one-pixel average color density data. Next, the average color density data of the one pixel located at the central position are determined and collated with one-pixel average color density data of a group of color densities to which the selected one-pixel average color density data belong, and the most approximate one-pixel average color density data are selected. Then, the minute crack width recorded in one pixel located at the central position of the demarcated image area is acquired from the data on the minute crack width peculiar to the selected data.
