A press up device with adjustable handles on a base

A push up or dip exercise device comprising a base 1, handle elements 2 and 3 positioned on the base and a footrest element 4. The base 1 may have a plurality of apertures to allow the handles 2 and 3 to be positioned in different places or at different angles. The footrest 4 may be adjustable to different heights. The base 1 may have an aperture into which the footrest 4 can be stacked to facilitate easy storage. The footrest 4 and base 1 may be arranged for step exercises. There may also be an elastic, spring of air compression mechanism for providing a resistance against movement of a handle. A plurality of base plates may be provided and the base 1 may have a rotatable board positioned on it for a user to perform twisting exercises.
