PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal decorative electronic key which can minimize degradation of antenna efficiency caused by decoration of a case with a metal. SOLUTION: A portable machine 2 is constituted of the case 4 which is made of a non-conductive material having a metal 8 decorated on part of a designed surface in order to satisfy the external design quality thereof, and a transmission antenna 11 which is arranged inside the case 4, for transmitting an identification code intrinsic thereto to a communication object by radio.
