PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication method in a MIMO OFDMA system in which service is provided to users in each of multiple adjacent cells by the base station of the cell, the base station having a communication line to each user on an individual MIMO channel. SOLUTION: The method involves the base station (BS<SB>A</SB>) of a first cell carrying out the following steps: receiving, from the base station (BS<SB>B</SB>) or the user (B) of another cell, requests for reduction of interference which it is caused at users (B); identifying a rank deficient MIMO channel (H<SB>A</SB>) among its communication lines to users in the first cell to select a MIMO channel to be subjected to zero forcing; and applying zero forcing to communication on the selected MIMO channel (H<SB>A</SB>) to reduce interference experienced by at least one user (B). A rank deficient MIMO channel is chosen to minimize the reduction of overall data capacity due to the zero forcing, while it is found by examining eigenvalues of the channel matrix and calculating ratios thereof.
