<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a multi-layered sliding member exhibiting excellent friction/abrasion characteristics at high loading usage and at usage under a dry friction condition. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing, (a) a woven fabric including a spun yarn of synthetic fiber is impregnated/coated with thermosetting synthetic resin varnish containing an ethylene fluoride resin powder, (b) it is dried, (c) it is cut and a plurality of them are superposed, (d) it is heated and pressurization-molded in a superposed direction, (e) it is subjected to bending processing under heating, (f) an adhesion layer is formed on a cylinder outer surface and a cylinder inner surface of a cylindrical back plate, (g) the two adhesion layers are brought into contact with each other, (h) a pipe made of metal having a large thermal expansion coefficient is press-fitted to an inner surface, (i) it is dried in a drying furnace at a temperature of 150-200°C for 20-40 minutes, and (j) it is cooled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
