<p>The method involves separating between biodegradable fiber based absorbent (10) and liquid pollutant e.g. hydrocarbon, in a centrifuge (20), where the absorbent is collected in a packaging container (27). The separated absorbent is recycled and repackaged, and the separated and repackaged pollutant is reused simultaneously, where the absorbent is chosen from bonded plant fibers such as cellulose-based agglomerated and biodegradable synthetic fibers. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an installation centrifuge for implementing a biodegradable absorbent treating method in a continuous mode (2) a method for recovering liquid pollutant (3) a recuperator for recovering the pollutant.</p> |
