LIGHT INFORMATION DEVICE FOR CONTROL OF ROAD TRAFFIC

Light information device for road traffic control relates to automated system for control and support of decision making in process of operation of complicated technical systems, for information-lighting equipment and systems for control of motion of motor transport, for visual presentation to participants of road traffic of additional information. Light information device is made as formed by several independently working zones formed with light transparent elements and placed in vertical. End surfaces of light-transparent elements are optically matched to triad of point light sources that emit red, yellow and green light. That very light guide elements in the upper zone are optically matched to triad of point light sources emitting red, green and blue light. To gap between light conducting elements optically transparent medium is included, this forms optical contacts in the upper zone of the screen. In the lower information zone of screen through rectangular cut is provided, this is optically matched to additional set of luminodiodes. Depending on level of outer illumination automated control of level of illumination of screen of the device of color codes and additional information is achieved. On surface of remote with respect to observer light conductive element conform copy of information diffusively reflecting sign is placed, position of information sign and its diffusively reflecting copy are chosen as coinciding in space. Due to increase of area of screen, use of additional graphic and symbol information proposed simultaneously with color codes of control, automated change of level of illumination of screen of the device with simultaneous increase of angle of observation increase of effectiveness of road traffic control is achieved.
