METHOD, SYSTEM AND EQUIPMENT FOR OBTAINING RECORD BOOKMARKS IN IPTV SYSTEM

Communication technology is involved and a method for obtaining record bookmarks in IPTV system is provided. In the method, a client sends the first message requesting to obtain a record bookmark to a record bookmark provider entity. The client receives the second message carrying the record bookmark sent by the record bookmark provider entity according to the first message. The client obtains the record bookmark from the second message. With the method, the client and the record bookmark provider entity obtain record bookmarks interactively and it enables some services of IPTV to develop successfully. A system for obtaining record bookmarks, a client and a record bookmark provider entity in IPTV system are also provided.
