<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rigidity of a caliper body by a simple structure without increasing the weight of the caliper body. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of action parts 3a, 3b having two cylinder holes 5, 6 juxtaposed in the disk circumferential direction are formed integrally with a bridge part 3c for connecting the both action parts 3a, 3b astride the outer periphery of a disk rotor 2. A ceiling opening part 3g is formed on the bridge part 3c, and a rigid member 10 is suspended on the ceiling opening part 3g in the disk axial direction. The action parts 3a, 3b are provided with inner walls 3h, 3m on the disk rotor side for connecting opening parts of the two cylinder holes 5, 6 to a disk turn-in side block 3d and a disk turn-out side block 3e; lateral ribs 3i, 3n connecting bottom walls 5a, 6a of the cylinder holes 5, 6 to the disk turn-in side block 3d and disk turn-out side block 3e; and longitudinal ribs 3k, 3p extended from intersection portions of the lateral ribs 3i, 3n with the cylinder hole bottom walls 5a, 6a toward fitting parts 3j, 3o of the ceiling opening part 3g. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
