摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic type suspension system showing a high practical characteristic. SOLUTION: In addition to a first regenerative electrical power reducing device 204 that can consume at least a part of generated electrical power of an electromagnetic motor 54 installed at an actuator and reducing the electrical power regenerated at a power supply 152, a suspension system is provided with a second regenerative electrical power reducing device arranged between a driving circuit 146 and an electromagnetic motor 54 and at the driving circuit 146 and capable of realizing a state that a generated electrical power is not regenerated by its own operation at the power supply 152. The state that the generated electrical power is not regenerated at the power supply 152 is realized by controlling an operation of a switching element of an inverter 146 and short-circuiting between the current-carrying terminals of the motor 54 to make the inverter 146 act as the second regenerative electrical power reducing device. The second regenerative electrical power reducing device enables a burden applied to the power supply, the driving circuit and the first regenerative electrical power reducing device and the like to be reduced.
