PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoe sole with improved attaching strength and comfort and excellent outside appearance improved by eliminating a gap in the joint between a shoe sole body and a heel lift, and permitting replacement of the heel lift in a structure for engaging and attaching the heel lift to the rear half of the heel sole of the shoe sole body. SOLUTION: A heel reinforcing material 5 is embedded in the heel part of the shoe sole body 2, and a notch part for storing the base of a replaceable heel and insertion holes 9 communicating with an attaching hole 6 of the heel reinforcing piece 5 are formed under the heel sole of the shoe sole. The shoe sole body 2 has an outer peripheral edge 2c on the lower surface of the heel sole of the shoe sole body 2, and a recess 7 is formed on the inner side of the outer peripheral edge. Attaching shafts 4 of the replaceable heel lift 3 are inserted into the insertion holes 9 in the shoe sole body 2, and the bases of the attaching shafts are pressed on the recess 7 and flexed to insert and engage engagement projections 4a into attaching holes 6 of the reinforcing piece 5. The upper surface 3a of the base of the replaceable heel lift 3 is always closely attached to the outer peripheral edge 2c on the lower surface of the heel sole of the shoe sole body 2 with the action of resilient force when the attaching shafts 4 are pressed.
