METHOD FOR JOINING HYBRID COMPONENTS

The invention relates to a method for joining a first component (1) to a second component (2). Said second component penetrates at least partially into the first component due to a relative movement of both components, without the second component changing shape during joining at least in the area which penetrates into the first component. The first component is heated when the second component penetrates into the first component in a contact area with the second component such that the first component is locally plastified. The cooled first component is connected to the second component in a positive fit after the joining process.
