COUPLING STRUCTURE OF STRUCTURAL MATERIAL

An easy-to-fix coupling structure of a structural material having a simple structure including a small number of summary sheet components which is not loosened easily by external force and can produce a strong tightening force. The coupling structure comprises a nut installed in a groove provided in the side face of a columnar material and having tapered faces on both the sides along the width direction of the groove, a pair of tightening members installed on both the sides of the nut and having tapered faces which respectively face the tapered faces of the nut, and a bolt installed to penetrate a tightened member being fixed to the side face of the columnar material and screwed to the nut. The nut is moved by rotating the bolt and the pair of tightening members are moved outward through interaction of the tapered face of the nut and the tapered face of the pair of tightening members thus engaging the ends of the pair of tightening members with the end of the groove of the columnar material and obtaining a strong coupled state.
