<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having a motor driver circuit which is simply design-changeable and is high in versatility. <P>SOLUTION: An operation amplifier AMP forms a buffer circuit by being externally connected to a resistance element. One input node (minus side) of the operation amplifier AMP and the output node thereof are connected to the resister element R1 via an external pin EP. The other input node (plus side) of the operation amplifier AMP is connected to a reference voltage Vref.
