INTERPOLYMER COMPOSITIONS AND CAST STRETCH FILM MADE OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cast stretch films which have excellent processability, which exhibit high impact strength, puncture strength, and stretch properties, and which are high clarity films utilized to protect and unitize manufactured goods or items for transport and storage, and interpolymer compositions for the films. SOLUTION: The cast stretch films prepared from interpolymer compositions are provided. The interpolymer compositions comprise: (A) a substantially linear ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer present in the composition in an amount of from 10 to 100% by weight; and (B) a heterogeneous interpolymer present in the composition in an amount of from 0 to 90% by weight; and wherein the interpolymer composition has a viscosity at 100 rad/s and a relaxation time (τ) which satisfies either of the following relationships: Log(viscosity at 100 rad/s)≤4.43-0.8log(I2) or log(τ)>-1.2-1.3*log(I2).
