METHOD FOR ESTIMATING THERAPEUTIC EFFECT TO SUBJECT OF AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for estimating therapeutic effect, enabling to estimate in an early stage if a pharmaceutical agent is effective to a patient or not, when the pharmaceutical agent is administered to the patient suffering from an autoimmune disease. SOLUTION: The therapeutic effect of the pharmaceutical agent to a subject is estimated by sampling blood of the subject of the autoimmune disease 1 week before initiation and 1 week after the initiation of administration of the pharmaceutical agent, measuring the amount of expression of a predetermined gene in each sample and using change of the amount of expression of the gene before and after the administration of the pharmaceutical agent as an indication.
