<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt system capable of effectively restraining the body of an occupant by adjusting tension of a seat belt. <P>SOLUTION: This seat belt system includes: a webbing 4 delivered or rewound from a webbing rewinding device 3; a tongue plate 60 slidably supported on a buckle portion 7 and the webbing 4 and engaged with the buckle portion 7. A tongue portion 6 has a driven roller 10, a driving roller 20 and a rotation motor 30 for pinching and rotating the webbing 4 and, when predetermined conditions are satisfied, increases the tension of a lap portion of the webbing 4 for restraining an occupant and drives the rotation motor 30 to release the tension of a shoulder portion of the webbing 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
