<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce transit switching process time when performing packet transit switching between subscriber terminals connected through different communication paths. <P>SOLUTION: A packet transit apparatus, comprising the packet transit switching apparatus that provides packet transit switching between subscriber terminals connected through different communication paths, includes a packet reception processing means for receiving a packet from a subscriber terminal connecting to respective communication path, a packet transit switching determination means for extracting communication data contained in a received packet if a packet transit switching is determined based on header information in the received packet, and a packet send processing means for sending a packet to the subscriber terminal connecting to respective communication path, i.e., for receiving the communication data extracted from the packet transit switching determination means and inserting and sending the extracted communication data sustaining the continuity of header contents to be sent to the subscriber terminals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
