<p>The apparatus has a cooking surface (2) for receiving a food to be cooked, and a heating device (3) placed above the surface. A vertical opening (4) is extended from the surface. The heating device has a reflecting system (8) surrounding an electrical resistor (7) and comprising openings (12, 14). The reflecting system is arranged with respect to the cooking surface and the resistor such that heat radiation from the heating device forms a heat curtain, whose width is equal to width of the cooking surface.</p> |
