The implant has a base (1) for anchoring the implant in a bony zone of a jaw. The base has a connecting unit that is in the form of a female connector and connects the base to a support abutment (2) of a prosthetic tooth. The connecting unit has an inner tapered cavity (10) formed in an upper part of the base. The cavity has a chamfered peripheral edge (11) at its outer periphery, and an indexing relief at its inner periphery. The cavity receives a homothetic base (20) of the abutment by fitting. A wall of the cavity is longitudinally separated from the indexing relief by a circular groove.
