<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate for a change in degree of light emission due to deterioration of an organic EL element. <P>SOLUTION: This pixel circuit includes two EL elements: a first organic EL element 1 contributing to light emission, and a second organic EL element not contributing to light emission. A second driving transistor 4 supplies a driving current according to data written to a storage capacitor 6 to the second organic EL element 3. A first driving transistor 2 supplies a driving current according to the driving voltage where voltage drop in the organic EL element 2 is reflected, which is a voltage at an intermediate point between the second driving transistor 4 and the second organic EL element 3. The second driving transistor 4 supplies a predetermined driving current to the second organic EL element 3 even if the data is at a black level, and the driving voltage of the first driving transistor 2 is a voltage where a voltage drop in the second organic EL element 3 is reflected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
