<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston pump capable of rapidly and efficiently feeding liquid such as water with weaker force. <P>SOLUTION: A piston 12 is equipped with a pipe conduit 11 having one end 22 acting as a suction side of liquid 100 and the other end 21 acting as a discharge side of the liquid, and a piston 12 arranged so as to be reciprocatable in the pipe conduit 11 in order to suck the liquid from the one end side of the pipe conduit 11. A gap G is formed between an inner surface 56 of the pipe conduit 11 and an outer circumference of the piston 12. Consequently, even if the piston 12 is allowed to reciprocate inside the pipe conduit 11, no large frictional force occurs between the piston 12 and the inner surface 56 of the pipe conduit 11 and hence no large pressure decrease occurs in the pipe conduit 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
