PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the life of a sensor, and to quickly detect the leakage of a cooling medium in a vending machine for reducing the risk of explosion by ejecting a cooling medium which has leaked to the inside of a storage box. SOLUTION: This vending machine is provided with a guide 42 for making the inside of a storage box 23 communicate with the outside of the storage box 23 at the lower part of the front part of the storage box 23, and a leakage detection sensor 43 is installed in a machine chamber 51 arranged at the position lower than the position of the guide 42 outside the storage box of the storage box 23, and a cooling medium leaking in the storage box 23 is guided through the guide 42 to the outside of the storage box 23, and the leakage of the cooling medium is detected by the leakage detection sensor 43 outside the storage box 23 so that it is possible to prevent the deterioration of the leakage detection sensor 43 due to such a reason that the leakage detection sensor 43 is arranged in the storage box 23, that the leakage detection sensor 43 is arranged under a high temperature environment, or that the leakage detection sensor 43 is poisoned by gas to be generated in the storage box 23.
