<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compactly formed pounding machine capable of always, surely and efficiently pounding well an object to be pounded, regardless of its properties and kind. <P>SOLUTION: This pounding machine is composed of a mortar 2 which is horizontally arranged in a rotatable manner with a prescribed speed, a pounder 6 which is arranged in a liftable manner along the central line of the mortar 2, a rotary blade 7 which is arranged in an eccentric position in the mortar 2 so as to operate to hand turn over an object to be pounded to the central direction while operating to rotate in the reverse direction of the mortar 2, and a fixing blade 15 which is arranged in the mortar 2 so as to operate to hand turn over the object to be pounded to the central direction while blocking in the inner bottom of the mortar 2.
