PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel motor, capable of assuring more preferable cooling performance, and providing improved liability. SOLUTION: This in-wheel motor 1 has a rotating electric machine 2 for each wheel on an inner periphery side of a wheel, and a blower means 32 for blowing air to the in-wheel motor 1 at an outer enveloping member 31 which envelopes an outer periphery of the wheel.
