FIELD: metallurgy, alloys. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the corrosion-resistant aluminum- -magnesium alloy with high magnesium content possessing weldability property and containing the ternary zirconium-scandium- zirconium phase as an important component. This alloy contains at least 5-6 wt. - % of magnesium (Mg). 0.05-0.12 wt.-% of zirconium (Zr), 0.7-1 wt.-% of manganese (Mn), 0.01-0.2 wt.-% of titanium (Ti), 0.05- 0.5 wt.-% of one or some elements among the group consisting of scandium (Sc), cerium (Ce), terbium (Tb) and other lanthanides being this alloy comprises at least scandium (Sc), 0.005 wt.-% of cerium and zirconium (Al) also and imminent inclusions of silicon (Si) in the maximal amount 0.2 wt.-%. Invention proposes a member made of above described alloy for motor transport agent prepared by methods of rolling, extrusion, welding and forging. Invention provides preparing the corrosion-resistant aluminum-magnesium alloy possessing weldability that shows both high strength and high level for recrystallization.
