PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a transmission improved in control accuracy of a change gear ratio at a neutral position, while eliminating or dispensing with a sensor for detecting rotation of a drive pulley of a continuously variable transmission. SOLUTION: When it is determined that a forward clutch is set at a neutral position for releasing the forward clutch (S10), a deviation between engine speed NE and turbine speed NT is computed (S14), and a feedback gain is set based on the computed deviation (S16), thrusts of a drive pulley and a driven pulley are computed based on the set feedback gain (S18), and oil pressures to be supplied to the drive pulley and the driven pulley are computed based on the computed thrusts (S20).
