PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an adamantyl (meth)acrylate useful as a raw material for high-functional polymers for chemically-amplifiable photoresist resins for microprocessing and LED encapsulants. SOLUTION: The method for producing an adamantyl (meth)acrylate is a method for producing an adamantyl (meth)acrylate by reacting (meth)acrylic acid with an adamantanol in an organic solvent, wherein the reaction solution is washed with an alkali, a polymerization inhibitor is added to the washed reaction solution, and the resultant reaction solution is concentrated in the presence of an oxygen-containing gas.
